ABOUT

My work is rooted in a passion for community-powered publishing and environmental art. Through the practices of narrative editing and consent-based storytelling, I collaborate with culture workers and climate organizers to support them in sharing their stories on their terms.

My praxis is shaped by more than a decade of work as an environmental educator, writer, and community curator. As an educator, I have co-facilitated workshops on climate storytelling and collective resilience at venues such as The Ruby in San Francisco and Union Hall in Denver. As a writer, I’ve worked extensively with Loam Editor Kailea Loften on publications such as our popular disaster preparedness guide, Compassion in Crisis. And as the 2021 Activist-in-Residence at Boulder Public Library, I curated an immersive art exhibit on wildfire season in collaboration with artist Chelsea Call of Curam.

My current body of work focuses on holistic disaster preparedness, mutual aid, and herbalism.
